Recherche sur l'Origine - Research on the Origin - Erforschung des Ursprungs, white elongated card board box (32 x 10 x 9) containing a little octavo size booklet, 29 pages with blue covers and printed on label + a paper scroll (30 x 300 cm), with the reproduced handwriting of Filliou on blue graph paper with two pieces of round wood attached to both ends. First edition. One of 400 numbered copies, signed by Filliou on the colophon page of the little booklet + numbered and signed on one of the two pieces of wood attached to the paper roll. The booklet with introduction by Jürgen Harten and quotes (in English French and German) that related to the quotes used in the original. Published on the occasion of an exhibition held in the Stadtische Kunsthalle in Düsseldorf, in cooperation with the Kunstmuseum Luzern and the Künstler program of the DAAD Gallery, Düsseldorf: Städtische Kunsthalle, 1974

The wooden box contains a lot of nails. First edition. One of 20 (120) 'Belegexemplare', dated and numbered in on the bottom of the wooden box.
